This book combined two of my favorite things, short stories and a good mystery. This brief collection of four mystery short stories was surprisingly refreshing and enjoyable even while it commented on some of the darker aspects of humanity.
P.D. James writes four mysteries that have you turning the page until the very end. Since I do not want to spoil anything, I will simply say that if you’re a fan of mystery writing these are not to be missed. I highly recommend this brief collection and I look forward to rereading these stories again next Christmas.
