Had the distinct feeling that my reading challenge would not go unanswered!
So I had to go looking for Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower, but after an evening of scouring our books, then realizing that perhaps we loaned it out, then remembering that we loaned to my friend, Elisha, and then by a happy coincidence meeting her for lunch today, I have obtained our copy and thus the Reading Challenge #1 will commence September 1.
No worries, Hannah, I will put The Defiant Life… in the mail tomorrow!
